"Our 4th sem Civil Engg students attended the workshop on "Concrete Mix Design " conducted by Professor Manjunath B Sir,KSSEM. Day 1 - 06/03/2026 The first day focused on the theoretical aspects of Concrete Mix Design, where students learned about the importance of proper material proportioning, strength requirements, durability considerations, and the procedures involved in designing concrete mixes for construction works. Day 2 - 09/03/2026 The second day was dedicated to practical demonstrations . Students actively participated in performing the Slump Test to check the workability of concrete and were guided through the casting of concrete cubes for strength testing. "

This hands-on workshop equipped our students with practical knowledge and skills in designing and proportioning concrete mixes, preparing them for real-world applications."
