Welcome To Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

An IQAC, or Internal Quality Assurance Cell, is a body within higher educational institutions (HEIs) in India, established under NAAC guidelines, to ensure and enhance the overall quality of education, academics, and administration through continuous monitoring, feedback, and strategic planning, focusing on learner-centric environments and best practices for holistic development and excellence.

Key Functions & Objectives

  • Quality Benchmarking: Develops standards for academic and administrative performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Creates systems for conscious and consistent improvement in teaching, research, and services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Reviews and evaluates the functioning of departments and programs.
  • Feedback Mechanism: Collects and analyzes feedback from students, faculty, employers, and alumni.
  • Learner-Centric Environment: Promotes quality education focused on student needs.
  • Best Practices: Institutionalizes and coordinates quality-related activities and best practices.
  • Data Management: Maintains institutional data for analysis and reporting.
  • Accreditation Support: Assists the institution in preparing for accreditation and maintaining standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieve compliance relating to the standards of Technical Education which are defined from time to time by the supervisory authorities like AICTE, UGC, DTE, etc.
  • Development of the strategies to achieve better ranking in IIC and NIRF and the process of accreditation conducted by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) etc.
  • Expansion of academic programs as per the directions of Governing Body (GB)
  • Inform Principal on new development in Technology, Teaching-Learning Process, new programs and development of a strategic plan for the Institution
