Automobile Engineering is a discipline of engineering concerned with the design, production, and maintenance of automobiles. The Automobile Engineering course covers a wide range of topics, from vehicle design to component manufacture, assembly, and safety testing.
K S Polytechnic is amongst the top Diploma in Automobile Engineering colleges in Bangalore. The Automobile Engineering course deals with the design, development, maintenance, of automobiles and automotive engines.
With the latest technologies like hybrid vehicles entering the market, the demand for Automobile Engineers in research and development has also increased within the automobile companies. Aspirants of this programme are trained on safety systems, quality control, systems engineering, safety engineering and are introduced to mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and development engineering.
With various automobile companies located in the city, studying a diploma in automobile engineering in Bangalore can give students an extra edge when it comes to internship opportunities and the same extends to when it comes to looking for a full-time job.
The Diploma in Automobile Engineering syllabus is curated in such a manner that diploma holders can get lateral entry into 2nd year of B.E/B.Tech even without an entrance exam score. Students looking for engineering career post-diploma will be able to work in the automobile industry and related fields.
I welcome you all to the Department of Automobile Engineering. Department of Automobile Engineering was started in the year 1994. Technicians produced contributed to industrial development over the years at nation.
For overall development of the students, Guest Lectures, Technical workshops, Soft Skill training and industrial visits are arranged.
Industrial Visits are arranged in every semester to expose the students to real world applications.
The department has experienced and dedicated faculty members with strong commitment to the engineering education and professional ethics.
The job roles available for a diploma holder in Automobile Engineering include the following: Automobile Engineer, Design Engineer, Associate Manager, Production Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Quality Engineer, Assistant Engineer, etc. With major recruiters such as OFOS Services Private Limited, Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Nexgen Careers, Hyundai Groups, Rathinam Techzone, and with new technologies being introduced to the automobile industry, the possibilities of growth in the industry is very high.
You can search for different job portals and employment newspapers for the latest job vacancies. If you are fresher, don't miss any opportunity and try to grab your first job as it gives you practical exposure in the field and makes you a valuable asset in the future.

The holistic approach of the Digital Enterprise for creating digital twins in the automotive industry offers tangible benefits: You can substantially reduce the number of prototypes you need during the development of new cars. It becomes possible to predict the performance of the production unit and the products themselves. And it ensures you can produce what your customers expect in terms of individualization and drive concepts.
The dynamic development in the automotive industry is continuously increasing and confronts companies with new challenges. Worldwide demand for electric cars is on the rise, while the driving public - also those of us unwilling to make the move away from conventional drive systems - dreams of ever more individually designed cars.
